Some of the Kandy area schools will be closed in view of the unique exhibition of the Sacred Tooth Relic at the Sri Dalada Maligawa.
According to the Central Province’s Education Secretary, this goal will result in the closure of 37 Kandy schools.
The education secretary also mentioned that the schools should close from April 21 to 25, 2025.
The Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy will specifically display the Sacred Tooth Relic after sixteen years.
The event will take place over ten days, from April 18 to 27, 2025. (newswire.lk)
