As the examination was not held on November 27, 28, 29, 30 and December 02 and 03 due to bad weather conditions, the question papers scheduled for those dates will be held on December 21, 23, 28, 30 and 31 respectively. The exam schedule has been released by the examination department.
The Ministry also noted that altering the schedule for the A/L exam would lead to significant logistical challenges and disrupt the effective operation of Sri Lanka’s education system.
Considering these aspects, the Ministry of Education has verified that the A/L examination will continue as scheduled with the amendment maintaining equity and compliance with the academic calendar.
