The Grade 05 Scholarship Examination  is one of the highly competitive Sri Lankan examinations first introduced in 1947  conducted by the Department of Examinations of the Ministry of Education.

It is optional for students to undertake it during the final year of primary school .

When will the next Grade 05 Scholarship Exam in 2024 begin?

Usually, the Grade 05 Scholarship exam  is held in the months  in January and December  previous years. However, due to the disasters that occurred in Sri Lanka, the entire educational system suffered a severe setback.

Due to this, it was not possible to hold the grade 5 scholarship exam, O/L exam, and A/L exam on the scheduled dates. But now the previous situation is disappearing and the country is becoming normal.
