- The Bachelor of Arts in English (General) External Degree Program, or BA in English (External) (General) Degree Program 2025, has begun accepting students for the 2025 academic year, according to the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Students who fulfill the requirements for this program can take advantage of flexible learning possibilities.
- Requirements for Entry
- Three “S” passes or more in the GCE (Advanced Level) exam (2000 or after).
- For individuals who took the GCE (A/L) prior to 2000, four “S” passes are awarded.
- A teaching diploma or certificate of teacher training that includes credits in particular English-related areas.
- Three passes on the Cambridge/Edexcel London Advanced Level Examinations.
- Either an English-medium degree from an accredited university or a Higher Diploma in English (SLQF Level 4).
