Admissions for full-time vocational courses starting in July 2025 have been announced by the Industrial Engineering Training Institute (IETI) in Moratuwa, which is part of the Sri Lanka-German Technical Cooperation Project. The courses include a combination of theoretical and practical training, leading to a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ Level 4) and an IETI certification. They are made to satisfy the expectations of both domestic and foreign employment.

- Minimum qualifications vary by course and range from specialized accomplishments in pertinent fields to GCE O/L passes in six subjects, including Sinhala, Mathematics, and Science.
