The Global IT Olympiad is open to schoolchildren from Russia and other nations between the ages of 14 and 18 (inclusive), regardless of their programming background or level of expertise.
The main requirements for selection are that the participant must be enrolled in a comprehensive school and not be younger than 14 or older than 18 on the commencement date of Stage I of the Olympiad.

Global IT Olympiad
- Description
- All participants will be given the opportunity to take tests to gauge their degree of IT expertise after completing the registration form. Participants will receive an electronic certificate based on their test scores.
- Online individual qualifications
- (inclusive) April 2–April 15, 2025.
- The participant is free to choose the challenge deadline that suits them best. Participants in the first stage will receive 15 exercises that cover important aspects of cybersecurity, including theoretical and practical challenges in information security, mathematical logic, the fundamentals of programming and algorithm development, and artificial intelligence, including data analysis, text processing, and the creation of simple models. The exercises are broken down into three complexity levels: basic, medium, and advanced.
